Congratulations! You have made it this far, but it is not time to pop the bottles yet. There are a couple of loose ends to take care of first.
There is a final walk through that typically takes place the day before closing. This is to make sure that everything is working correctly, or at least in the same condition it was in when you agreed to buy the property. Then you want to be sure that all of the services and utilities are turned on before you close.
We want to make sure that your closing date is as stress-free as possible. We will be there every step of the way to make sure that if anything happens, we can take care of it for you. The last step is getting a settlement statement from the closing agent. This is a summary of all financial charges that have or will take place. After that, the mortgage company will take over and make sure all of the paperwork is in order and signed. The closer will have all relevant documents and keys to hand off at this time. After all is said and done; it is time to celebrate!
